UDS BSc Nursing and Midwifery Admission Forms 2023/2024
The University for Development Studies (UDS) has announced the release of admission forms for the 2023/2024 academic year. Specifically, aspiring students can now access the Bachelor of Science in Paediatric Nursing program application forms. THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR UDS BSC NURSING AND MIDWIFERY ADMISSION FORMS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Bachelor of Science (BSc) General Nursing.
To be eligible for the 2-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) in General Nursing Program, candidates must hold a Diploma in Nursing and be a Registered Nurse in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana.
Additionally, applicants must have a minimum of three (3) years of work experience after their registration. International applicants must provide proof of registration with their respective Professional Regulatory Bodies. Non-native English speakers must also demonstrate proficiency in the English Language.
The application deadline for this program is June 30, 2023.
Interviews will be conducted in July of the same year.
Options for study : Modular/Sandwich/Weekend.
Bachelor of Science (BSc) Midwifery
To be considered for the 2-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Midwifery Program, prospective students must possess a Diploma and be Registered Midwives in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Ghana. Additionally, applicants must have at least three (3) years of work experience after registration.
International applicants must provide proof of registration with their home Professional Regulatory Bodies. If English is not the applicant’s native language, proof of English Language proficiency must also be provided.
Flexible study options are available, including Modular, Sandwich, and Weekend programs.
The application deadline is June 30, 2023, with interviews scheduled for July of the same year.
Bachelor of Science (BSc) Paediatric Nursing
The 2-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Paediatric Nursing Program has specific requirements for applicants seeking admission. How to Apply for UDS Admissions
If you’re a Ghanaian applicant looking to enroll in the University for Development Studies (UDS) for the 2023/2024 Academic Year, you’ll need to apply online using the UDS Online Admissions Portal. Here’s how to do it:
- Get a UDS E-Voucher by paying GH¢ 200.00 at any Ghana Commercial Bank (GCB), Prudential Bank, Zenith Bank, Agricultural Development Bank (ADB), Stanbic Bank or Ecobank branch in Ghana.The E-Voucher will contain a PIN and a Serial Number that you’ll need to complete the online form.Alternatively, you can skip the first step and make an online payment of GH¢ 200.00 using a MasterCard or Visa on the UDS Online Admissions Portal.
- Access the online form on the UDS Online Admissions Portal,using the PIN and Serial Number from your E-Voucher or your online payment.You’ll need to upload a recent passport size photograph with a white background, as well as your relevant certificates.
- Double-check all the details you’ve entered before submitting the form, as you won’t be able to edit it afterwards.Once you’ve submitted the form, you’ll need to print out an application summary and attach it to your results slips, certificates and other relevant documents.You’ll need to submit three copies of these documents to the Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic Affairs Section) at the following address:The Senior Assistant Registrar (Academic & Student Affairs) University for Development StudiesP.O Box TL 1350 Tamale

Mode of Application for Foreign Applicants
For non-Ghanaians who wish to apply, please follow the steps below:
- Use a MasterCard or Visa card to make an online payment of $100.00 (One Hundred US Dollars) via the UDS Online Admissions Portal.
- Keep the advice slip for future reference.
- Once payment is made, access the online form through the UDS Online Admissions Portal.
- During completion of the online form, students must upload their passport-sized photograph and certificates.
- Remember to submit the completed form, as an incomplete form will not be considered.
- Before submission, it is important to double-check all details entered. Once submitted, the form cannot be edited, only viewed.
- Print the application summary, attach results slips, certificates, and any other relevant documents.
