ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR DEGREE PROGRAM

1. WASSCE/SSSCE– Applicants must have grades “A1 – C6 in their core and elective
subjects. This includes, English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science/Social
Studies and any three elective subjects which are relevant to the applicant’s area of
study.

2. ‘O’ Level/‘A ’Level – credits in at least five (5) subjects at the GCE‘O’ Level (or
its equivalent including English Language and Mathematics, plus at least three
(3) credit passes in the relevant subjects at the Advanced level.

3. GBCE – credit passes in Business Mathematics, English Language and Integrated
Science and three (3) elective subjects.

OTHER CERTIFICATIONS FOR DEGREE PROGRAM

1. Stage 1 of ACCA, ICA, Associates of Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB),
Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) with five (5) credits at GBCE or GCE‘O’
Level including English language and Mathematics.

2. American Grade12.

3. City & Guilds Technician Diploma/Advanced Diploma in relevant area of study.

4. International Baccalaureate (IB)/Diploma holders will go through a compulsory
three (3) months English Proficiency class before starting their program. They
should also submit both the original and translated versions of their results slips.

F. ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR “TOP UP” APPLICANTS

5. Higher National Diploma (HND) relevant to the program of study from a recognized
Polytechnic with at least 2nd Class Lower Division. Applicants will be placed at either second
or third year

6. Higher Diplomas relevant to the program of study from accredited tertiary institutions. This
will be assessed on individual basis and will need verification from the National Accreditation
Board (NAB).

ADMISSION REQUIREMENT FOR DIPLOMA PROGRAM

WASSCE applicants must have grades “A1 – D7” in their core and elective subjects.
This includes, English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social Studies
and any three elective subjects which are relevant to the applicant’s area of study.
• SSSCE/GBCE applicants must have grades “A – D” in both their core and elective
subjects. This includes English Language, Mathematics and Integrated Science/Social
Studies and any three elective subjects which are relevant to the applicant’s area of
study.

Ghana Communication Technology University admission forms for 2023/2024 deadline. The GCTU admission application closing date will be communicated to all candidates in their respective emails and phone numbers. Therefore, you are advised to provide a valid email address and phone number while registering.

HOW TO APPLY FOR GHANA COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY UNIVERSITY ADMISSION FORM 2023/2024

To successfully apply for the Ghana Communication Technology University admission form 2023/2024 academic year, you are advised to follow the instructions given below:

Candidates should visit the PUC admission portal Ghana GCTU
Candidates should purchase an e-voucher from any of the vendors listed below.
Login with the form on the right hand side, using the voucher SERIAL and PIN that was provided to you.

Select your mode of entry and indicate your entry type (i.e Post WASSCE/SSCE, Post Diploma, Matured etc). Click submit to start applying.

Fill application form and attach your passport picture. The applicant’s passport picture should be in .jpg, .jpeg, .png or .gif format and must not exceed 100KB in size. Make sure you upload a picture showing your face clearly.

Clicking the SAVE AND CONTINUE LATER button will save your application for editing later.

Clicking the SUBMIT AND PRINT button will submit the form and generate a reference number which will be sent to the phone number you provided.

Make sure you provide correct information before submitting the form. Changes after form submission is not allowed.
