HOW TO APPLY AS A MATURED STUDENT AT AAMUSTED 2022/2023

Who is a mature student?  A mature student is usually applicant who is at the age of 25 years and above and must meet the qualification standard in the traditional and private universities.

Applications by mature students are evaluated differently. Such applicants pass through “ENTRANCE EXAM” in order to meet the qualification standard of the university which comes in two folds (SAT) Special Aptitude Test and (GAT) General aptitude Test)

Before someone can apply for admission at Aamusted for 2022/2023 academic year, the applicant needs to have the following basic requirement

1. The Applicant should be twenty – five years (25) years by 1^st of September, 2022
2. Prove of identification showing that u are twenty – five years (25) years

Some of the document needed to show that you are 25 years are

1. Birth Certificate
2. Voters ID
3. Travelling Passport
4. Ghana or ECOWAS Card
5. School Certificate ( WASSCE, NABPTEX, GBCE, O LEVEL,

NOTE:

The University does not accept baptismal card as a prove show that you are 25 years

After having all this information, applicant can go online and purchase the forms

Forms are available at the following banks

• The Cash Office (AAMUSTED, Kumasi and Asante Mampong Campuses)

•  GT Bank
•  Ghana Post
•  Yaa Asantewaa Rural Ltd.

Applicant can also purchase forms Using this Code

• *447*160# (you will have this Message ‘Welcome to Ghana Post Service’)
• And Choose option 2 (Which says ‘Forms and E – Vouchers)
• A list of universities will pop up, If AAMUSTED is not among
• Choose (00) for the next option

After you are done with the purchasing of the code, log into aamusted.edu.gh to apply for the online application

This Information will be needed to complete the online application

1. Valid personal mobile phone number
2. Valid email
3. Passport picture with white background(dimension 450X450)
4. Do not wear white Dress for the passport Picture
5. Do not wear sunglasses or hats. For the passport pic
6. Full face, front view and opened eyes
7. Scanned copies of the document you will used
8. All supporting document must be a pdf

After completion of the online application print out your details and keep it well.

The university will contact you for the Entrance Exams when the time is due.
