NEW GUIDELINES FOR APPROVAL FOR SANDWICH, DISTANCE WEEKEND AND EVENING COURSES

It has come to our notice of management that approval to pursue further studies through Sandwich, Distance Weekend And Evening Courses are still being forward to the headquarters despite the new guidelines

Management is by this letter re – emphasizing the new guidelines for granting approval to GES staff who wants to pursue further studies which was issued on 6^th September 2021 with reference GES/HQ/SDTU/43/21

The revised guidelines become effective 7^th September, 2021.

The new guidelines are

Step 1

An Applicant will apply through the District/Municipal/Metro Directors of Education to the Regional Director

Step 2

The Regional directorate will compile the details of all qualifying applicant to the headquarters using the attached template

Step 3

After the Director-General approval is given, the Regional Director will issue an approval letter to complete the process using the attached template

Attached are the Excel Template and letter templates. Only the excel template should be sent to the Headquarters for approval
