SUMMER 2023 OPEN PROGRAM APPLICATION (DEADLINE: April 17, 2023)

Applications are now open for our OPEN online courses that will begin in summer 2023. (Classes begin on July 11, 2023.  Orientation will be from June 5 to 30, 2023)

Participants must be an English language educator to apply.

Participants must be able to commit 10-12 hours each week during the 8-week course to complete assignments.  Participants must have access to reliable high speed Internet.

The following course are being offered for Summer 2023:

-Developing and Teaching Academic Writing
-Creating and Implementing Online Courses (CIOC)
-Fostering Student Motivation and Engagement (FSME)
-Integrating Critical Thinking Skills into the Exploration of Culture in an EFL Setting-
-Methodology for TESOL
-Professional Development for Teacher Trainers
-Teaching English to Young Learners (TEYL)
-Teaching Grammar Communicatively
-Using Educational Technology in the English Language Classroom

Certificates and digital badges are issued by the U.S. Department of State for all those who pass the course.

In order to apply, the following survey must be filled in and submitted by April 17:

Please note that participation is competitive and there are a limited number of slots each term. The final selection of participants for Summer 2023 will be made in consultation with your local U.S. Embassy and the Regional English Language Office.
