|| Just In || GNAT Outlines Roadmap For Lower Rank Promotion In GES To Be Paid In July

The leadership of the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), has outlined a roadmap for the promotion of lower ranks in the Ghana Education Service (GES).

The Service earlier this year had assured these teachers who are due for promotion from their current rank to the next one that it would latest by the end of July 2022, completed the process.

Unfortunately, this promise has not materialized as these teachers have still not been promoted by the management of GES

However, Thomas T. Musah, the general secretary of the Ghana National Association of Teachers says this issue will be resolved by end of August.

According to him, on the issue of lower ranks (senior superintendent 1 and below), a total of ten thousand, three hundred and thirty-three (10,333) have been completed.

Teachers who were lucky enough to find their promotion worked on will be paid in July 2022

“Please, be informed that on the issue of the Lower Ranks (Senior Sup 1 and below), 10,333 have been completed and will be paid in July 2022”, Thomas T. Musah wrote

It is worth noting that the outstanding seventeen thousand, five hundred and seventy (17,570) will be paid in August 2022.
