All Senior High Schools will have an Easter break.

The academic calendar for all double track senior high schools in the country has undergone some changes for 2023.

As per the 2023 Transitional Academic Calendar, Form Threes who started their academic year on January 10, 2023, will go on a break on April 05, 2023, and this date remains unchanged.

Form Twos, who are currently on break, are expected to resume their studies on April 11, 2023, and will then go on a break on June 1, 2023. This date also remains unchanged.

For Form Ones in the same category, who began their first semester on February 20, 2023, their break/vacation is scheduled on April 13, 2023.

According to recent reports, it has been announced that form one students attending double track schools will have their Easter break synchronized with that of the form three students. As a result, form one students will commence their break on Wednesday, 5th April 2023, and are scheduled to return to school on 9th June 2023.

WHAT ABOUT SINGLE TRACK SCHOOLS

The academic calendar for single track Senior High Schools in 2023 shows that Form Three students, who began on January 10, 2023, will be taking a break from April 05, 2023, and will be expected to return to school on April 17, 2023.

Similarly, the Form Twos will also be taking a break on April 05, 2023, and will be at home from April 06, 2023, to April 16, 2023. The second semester will commence on April 17, 2023, and will end on August 25, 2023.

Form Ones will also be on a two-term schedule like the Form Twos and will be taking a break on April 05, 2023. Students will be at home from April 06, 2023, to April 16, 2023, and the second term will begin on April 17, 2023, and will end on September 15, 2023.

WHAT ABOUT BASIC SCHOOLS

Basic schools in Ghana are presently in their vacation period. The second term is set to commence on April 03, 2023, and run through to June 15, 2023. After this, there will be a break from June 16, 2023, to June 26, 2023. The third term is then scheduled to start on June 27, 2023, and continue until September 14, 2023.
