Three Students of Opoku Ware SHS Arrested In Attempt To Snatch A Car From A Taxi Driver
The Ghana Police Service has arrested three (3) final year students of Opoku Ware school in Kumasi for robbery.
Information gathered by GhEduJob reveals that, on Friday, August 12, 2022, the suspects boarded a taxi around 11pm from Santasi the location of the school and told the driver they’re going to their house closer to Golden Tulip hotel.

From the taxi driver, when they got close to Vienna City, one of the students pulled a knife and asked him to hand over the car keys to them of which he refused.
The students then struggled with the driver just to throw him out of the car. This got the driver to lose control of the wheel and crashed the car in the heap of sand.
The screams of the driver got people around the scene to move close thinking it was a normal accident. The driver was quick enough to alert the people of the boys mischievous action.

Two of them were arrested at the scene but one escaped only to be arrested at a later date.
The 2 students arrested, 17-years and one 19-years-old are in police custody and will be in court today, August 16, 2022.
Report has also revealed that the three students were baorders but managed to change their status to day students in their final year.
