Most of the teachers who began their work from 2014, 2015, 2016 are due for promotion from the rank they started from. Due to the Promotion Rank that they are going there is no need for them to write any Exams
The Ghana Education Service, GES is set to promote teachers in lower ranks i.e from Senior Superintendent II to Senior Superintendent I. According to GES, the list of teachers within that category has reached their quarters but taking time to scrutinize the list in order to avoid any mistakes and any challenges that may come up in future.
GES Headquarters have confirmed that it has received 39000 teachers due for promotion from all regions across the country and verification process is most completed.
GES through their letter assured all teacher who are due for promotion and have their names submitted through the regions that they will have their payment effected starting from May, 2022.
It further added that, Management is hopping that by end of July, 2022 the process will be completed for affected staff to be placed on their required scale and received their payment accordingly
Additionally, GES asked the affected Teachers to exercise maximum restraints as their needs are being attended to.
