Is Thursday March 7th, 2023 Public Holiday For Government Schools or Not

Many public schools in Ghana are wondering if Tuesday, March 7th, 2023 will be a public holiday. However, the answer is no, except for schools that participated in the Independence Day activities on March 6th.

These schools may be granted a day off on Tuesday to rest after the activities, but this is not confirmed by the Ghana Education Service (GES) yet.

Typically, the District, Municipal, or Metropolitan Directors of Education decide whether to declare a holiday for schools based on their activities during the Independence Day parade.

Ghedujob.com is monitoring the GES website and headquarters for any updates on whether March 7th will be a holiday for all public and private schools in Ghana. Or Not

The Ghana Education Service has officially announced a holiday for students on Tuesday, March 7, 2023.

This choice was taken so that the 66th Independence Day Parade-attending schools might take a break before returning to the classroom on March 8th, 2023.

  1. I think all schools will be closed for Tuesday 7th March. That has been the norm whenever the independence day celebration falls on a week day. It has never been a holiday for only the participating schools.

  2. This write-up is terrible. Your question is clearly stated, why don’t you clearly state your answer too.
Beating about the bush doesn’t make the write-up good, it only makes it frustrating to read
