- The National Union of Ghana Students has taken steps to ensure effective collaboration with the Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) to plan the implementation of an improvement plan to enhance the services of the loan scheme to all students

- The Union has begun working determinedly to ensure the payment of loans in arrears to beneficiaries. The assurance is that SUF will accelerate the payment of backlog for last semester to beneficiaries, hopefully by the close of next week. In lieu of this SLTF has agreed to work on Saturday and Sunday to ensure that timelines are met.
- The Union, upon a proper scrutiny of the reasons behind some challenges of disbursement has realized that one major contributor to delays in loan disbursement Instead of errors in the submission by students during application. Some among others are: uploading of full picture stead of a passport picture, mismatch of information, etc.
