It is a mandatory requirement for anyone aspiring to become a professional teacher within the Ghana Education Service.

Can you be recruited or posted as a College of Education teacher if you fail one or two papers of your NTC Exams?

For successful posting, or for the Ministry of Education to assign a trainee student from a college of education, one must pass all three (3) papers organized by the National Teaching Council. These papers include:

GENERAL PROFESSIONAL KNOWLEDGE

PEDAGOGY (SHS) PEDAGOGY (PRIMARY/JHS)

SUBJECT AREA

Without successfully passing all NTC exams, there will be no recruitment or posting for trainees from colleges of education who did not pass all required papers
