Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) wishes to congratulate all Senior High School (SHS), Senior High Technical School (SHTS), and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) schools for completing the first Professional Learning Community (PLC) Session Handbook titled “Working to the National Teachers’ Standards”. Overall, there was 76 percent participation by all schools.
The GES Management, in collaboration with the National Teaching Council (NTC), has commenced the process of awarding Continuous Professional Development (CPD) points to deserving teachers who have participated in the PLC sessions.
To facilitate the process, all heads of SHS/SHTS/STEM are to submit their email address and contact details to enable the NTC to set up a dedicated CPD platform for each school.
After the submission of the emails, a dedicated CPD platform for each school will be created by NTC. An email and SMS notification of the school’s CPD platform will be sent to the heads of the institution.
